Different domain names in the SSL certificate beside the server hostname

    Hi! I installed ISPConfig 3 via Autoinstaller. Now I need more domains in the certificate for the mail server, but another subdomain should also be added for the panel. There are relevant tutorials here to get this done. My question is how this affects the automatism for the certificate for the host name. Does it still matter?

    How it is affected depends on what tutorial you follow. What specifically are you doing to request the new certificate?

    I would follow ThOm's tutorial. Basically, the new certificate is included in /etc/postfix. And /usr/local/ispconfig/ssl is not affected. But you can also link it directly in .../ispconfig/ssl, although this is exactly what has been created.
