Hi, Currently i am using ISpconfig 3.1 DNS only master and slave setup. i want to add TXT record(Dkim ). But when i tried to make the records via web interface its giving character limitation error. It just display 256 character.so i added this record manually by editing zone file on both servers. ============================ Kindly let me know do i need to apply any patch .So that this record can be added successfully through web interface.
The length of that field in ISPConfig 3.1 is 65k chars (TXT field, not varchar). Seems as if a database update has not been applied correctly on your server. Change the data field in dns_rr table to TXT type with phpmyadmin.
Thanks for the solution.Kindly confirm do i need to change in secondary server. Because when i done it in primary my problem got resolved but still in secondary the problem remains same. So i manually change the zone file in secondary DNS. Kindly let me know do i need to update dns_rr table in secondary server.
