Hey everyone my name is Jim, i just currently set-up a server w/ISPConfig3 & openSUSE 11.4 w/auto install script. I have a couple of questions regarding how i need to setup the DNS mainly & APACHE websites. I currently own a domain titles "computercityservice.net" through go daddy and have set it up to use my dedicated IP addresses as the name servers ns1.computercityservice.net & ns2.computercityservice.net. My current machine information is as follows. server 1: host: ns1 site: computercityservice.net server 2: not setup yet but will eventually be host: ns2 site: computercityservice.net My question is how do i set-up DNS on ISPConfig for this domain? And did i setup the Host & Site correctly was i supposed to use the ns1 & computercityservice.net? I have currently set-up the zone & records but can someone go into detail and let me know what IP address i put in what box or alteast the important details to get it to run. I have downloaded the manual and have been reading all day but i am a little confused. Please help! ****For the record i had it running on windows server 2008 r2 and it worked but i wanted to switch to linux for a number of reasons and im comfortable with everything else but the BIND DNS server**** Thanks in advance! Also is there a way to add the second server to this ISPconfig or viceversa?

Just follwo the steps described in chapter 5.12 of the manual. You enter there the domain name, ip address, first and secondary nameserver and email address and then click on the button to create the dns record. Yes.
