Hello! I have a problem creating a record in DNS. I add Google's DNS mx, however, even if the host name is left blank, the DNS is displayed with the host name at the end of the record, see the image: Can you help me? I need the record to be without the domain at the end, like this:
you missed adding a dot at the end of the domain names. Every full domain name in Bind DNS has to end with a dot, if the dot is missing then the DNS server assumes that it is not a fully qualified domain name and adds the zone name automatically.
