dns cache with bind and without config?

    Does bind caches the resolved domains without any zone file configured?
    Or how to you us bind only as cache with bind9 and ispconfig3?

    sorry, but I saw I had posted in ispconfig2 instead off 3.

    So bind caches without any configured zone files?

    Zonefiles are for local zones only, they are not used for caching zones as recursive resolver.
