Hi, I am running my ubuntu server 8.10 on a dynamic ip address. Luckily, my router has the ability to connect to dyndns.com services and update my account when my IP changes. I have a domain (example.com) and my account on dyndns ([email protected]). My domain provider is Netfirms. For some reason, when I tried to add [email protected] as my DNS server, I would get an error (2303-Object does not exist). I contacted support and they suggested that I create a CName for the dyndns service. So I created a CName under [email protected]. Now that I try to add it as my DNS server, I still get the same error. Help! Thanks.
