I have 8 servers (4 Running already public domains) and i'm setting up a 5 server install of ispconfig. I won't have the 5th server till after i've done the migration because of data still existing on the server. If i wait to setup the second name server till after all the domains are configured will it copy the ns records to the second NS when it's setup and configured as a mirror of NS1?
I haven't chosen a dns server as i haven't started the primary ns install yet is one a better option then the other for this type of setup?
I've just spoken to Till, and it is possible to add the slave DNS server later on. He recommends that you use BIND. Take a look at this post: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showpost.php?p=248916&postcount=2
