Does anyone know if there are any plans to add the option for adding NS entries in the DNS Manager?

Right now, the two name servers from the Options tab are used for the NS record. There's no plan yet to add a function to add additional name servers.

I was actually more interested in, for example, adding the entries for a sub-domain. This would require 2 more options on the records screen (at least, different from ISPConfig 2): An arbitrarily named NS record, and an arbitrarily named A record

    Eg:

In the configuration for example.com, adding sub-domain sub.example.com:

    sub.example.com NS ns1.sub.example.com

    ns1.sub.example.com A x.x.x.x

    Basically, support for "glue" records.

Are you talking about ISPConfig 2 or 3 ?

    Either one, really. Preferably both.

Anyone know if the PTR bug in ispconfig (2) will be fixed in next release? :)
