hey, i have ispconfig 3 up and running,

the question i have is how would i set up the dns records and or name server to work like so,

    Domain: XXXX.com <-- everything works
    Name Server: ns1.XXXX.com
    Name Server 2: ns2.XXXX.com

    Domain: XXXX.ca
    Name Server: ns1.XXXX.ca
    Name Server 2: ns2.XXXX.com or ns1.XXXX.com

how would i get this to work? i no it as to do with some sort of transfer but i am unsure of how set this up correctly.

    Thank,

The setup is the same. It does not make a difference for ispconfig if its a com or ca domain.

i think you misunderstood me, i no that ispconfig doesnt care about the .ca .com i want to know how to set up my ns1(ns2).XXXX.com to be my slave ns for the ns1.XXXX.ca how do i set up the records to reflect ns1.XXX.ca --> ns2(1).XXXX.com?

    thanks

You can not setup the ispconfig server as slave server. Either use it as master or just enter the same details that you entered on the .ca server so you have two master servers which will work as well.
