I am setting up a new server using ISPconfig that will host domains, emails and server as a name server for the hosted domains. I am confused about how dns works in ISPconfig. It appears we have to create a new zone for each domain that we want to host dns for. This is not something that is done automatically when the domain is created. Is this correct?
Thanks. I have one request for future development. Other control panels I have used like Plesk or Cpanel will add DNS Zones automatically when a domain is created and I would love to see that in ISPconfig. This is not a criticism as I am extremely grateful for ISPconfig.
