DNS Zone file included in BIND config

    Hi. I've created a reverse DNS zone in ISPConfig panel, and I see it on disk, but the bind.conf.local file is empty, the zone file doesn't seem to be referenced anywhere.
    Is this normal? What can I check? ISPConfig fully updated this morning, running on Ubuntu 12.04.

    Does the file has a .err ending? In this case, bind rejected its content and ispconfig excluded it therefor from named.conf.local file. You can check the file with named-checkzone command to get the detailed error message.

    yes it has an .err extension. I'll double check, thanks
