Hi, I've installed MyDNS + MyDNSConfig on SuSE 11.1. It appears that everything works fine. Server replies on nslookup. The problem is that I have assigned certain DNS zones to some users, but when users log in they cannot see any zones. I have imported zones from bind on debian using mydnsimport. How to go around this issue? Thanks...
There is no utility for ispconfig to import zones from bind. If you use the utility from mydns then all the permission informations are missing for the database records and you get the problem that you descrube here. The only thing that you can try is to set the permission columns in the database for all importedecords manually.
