HI! I have a question regarding DocumentRoot.. I have a disk mounted in /server.. I would like to have this set as mDocumentRoot. I changed the settings in ISPConfig 3 panel, httpd.conf, .. How can I safely change document root to /server and still be able to access www.domain.com/webmail and www.domain.com/phpmyadmin? I searched this forum.. but nothing usefull came up.. Please help a noob It is quite urgent... EDIT: I would also like to have mail folders on that particular disk.. (because other disks are small)
Which Linux distribution? Also you should be aware that things like suexec will not work anymore with your changed docroot as the docroot for suexec is compiled into apache and can not be changed in a config file.
wow.. that was fast! amazing! sorry.. Fedora 10.. can i make a sym link for suexec? or perhaps recompile apache.. and how?
No, this wont work. Yes. But I dont have instructions for this at hand. Regarding phpmyadmin and webmail, as far as I know there are some include files in the apache directory, you might have to change the path there too.
i changed the document root.. tnx a lot! i have one more question.. is it possibble to have custom database names without "user_[CLIENTID]"?
