Does clamAV work out of the box in ISP 2.2.0?

I'm still wondering about the virus scanner clamAV.
Now I've installed the ISPconfig version 2.2.0.

In the header I see nothing that could tell me somthing about a running clamAV scanner. In the header is no hint about a running virus scanner only spamassassin has left the mark about its working.

    Even I did:
    and it looks ok.

So is clamAV running usually running out of the box?

Usually: Definitely YES. At least for me it did.
And in 2.2.0 trashscan definitely writes its X-Header into the mail, so you would find out if the mail would have been scanned. Without this header trashscan definitely CAN'T work.

Did you activate the antivirus checkbox for the mailbox? ;-)

    Yes.

You can try to check clamav with a virus test pattern in an email.

You must enable "Antivirus" for the user in question.
