I accidentally installed mariadb if it works mainly the same, ill keep it. Mainly i want to know if it works the same when creating word press sites on the domain.
Yes, you should keep MariaDB. All recent ISPConfig setups and also all major Linux distributions use it is a default when a MySQL compatible database is required.
