I have two sites: domain.com sub.domain.com I used PFSEnse and the DNS resolver to allow me to work on it internally. I created an entry for each of the URL's. domain.com sub.domain.com Using previous advice found here, I did: IPv4 address - always " * " I turned off auto-subdomain for both I left SSL off for now I have not added any software to try. I just used the welcome page that is installed to confirm it it works or now. When I look at the: sub.domain.com It works fine. With I use the: domain.com I get the page: Apache2 Debian Default Page I then tried typing the domain while typing in the index.html file It still stays on the apache default page. What might be causing it to reach my server, but but to the right destination? Thanks Joseph
Getting the wrong page is a faq, you either do not have '*' as your domain.com address as you think, you named your server 'domain.com', or you have something that's probably not directly caused by ISPConfig (eg. maybe your browser is actually displaying the 'www.domain.com' page, though it shows 'domain.com' in the location bar, and having auto-subdomain off makes the 'www' not work).
Thanks for the reply. My IPv4 was set at * My auto subdomain was set at none. It woudl nto work. I changed the auto subdomain to * and it started working. Thanks! Joseph
