    Should the domain.tld be a online domain or can it be a local domain.
    For instance:
    can the domain be mydomain.local or should it be mydomain.com?

    This has to be a real domain if you want to use your server on the internet.

    I have the following setup:

    ---- WAN ---- Firewall ------- Server 1 (192.168.1.10), Server 2 (192.168.1.11)
    so I should create mydomain.com with an A record server 1 which points to the wan ip?
