dovecot and vpopmail or similar?

I just installed fedora 7 with dovecot. I was going to install ISPConfig to manage virtual domains over a web interface, but it would not install because my fedora server is not a dns server. My DNS comes from a different server.
Our previous mail server (set up before my time) used qmail+vpopmail+qmailadmin on a gentoo system, but it is horribly outdated, was not kept up before my time and I was looking to replace it.
What's the best program for this? I wish to be able to log onto the server through a web interface in order to add/delete/manage domains and users.

    RE: Mail Server

If you are willing to use Ubuntu, it is fairly easy to install and manage using falko's guide.

    http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual-users-and-domains-with-postfix-ubuntu-7.10

To manage the users and domains it uses PHPMyAdmin via the web browser.
No pretty bells and whistles, but very fast and effective.

I can usually build one these mail servers from empty hard drive to full server in roughly 2 hours.

There are also guides for other distro's as well. Look Here:

All that is required is that BIND is installed - you don't need to run it. :)
