    Hi,

My incoming and outgoing mails are working perfectly. But every second following line is logged in mail.log

dovecot: imap-login: Disconnected (no auth attempts in 0 secs): user=<>, rip=127.0.0.1, lip=127.0.0.1, secured,
dovecot: pop3-login: Disconnected (no auth attempts in 0 secs): user=<>, rip=127.0.0.1, lip=127.0.0.1, secured,

I found a question posted with the same problem at http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63454&highlight=dovecot+disconnected but the question has not found any answer.

    What could be the problem?

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Sachin Divekar

There is no problem. The above lines in the log are from the auromatic system monitor which is build into ispconfig.

How can logging of ISPConfig controlled?

Okay so these are the logs generated by automatic system monitoring function.

From where I can control logging in ISPConfig?

    Thank you.

These are correct imap connecttions logged by dovecot. So they were not logged by ispconfig. If you dont want to see them in the logs, you will have to turn off logging in dovecot.
