Hi, I am using RedHat Linux. I have recently encountered with some strange issues regarding mail. We are using PHP script to pop messages from the mail boxes. There are eight scripts. Each run in every two minutes. We are using IMAP,POP3. I have seen alot of pop3-login process owned by dovecot users. This is effecting our existing system and become unstable. We have already checked our script but didn't find any issue with coding. Can anyone help me in this context. Thanks in advance.
Any errors in your mail log? Maybe someone from the outside is trying to connect to Dovecot (hackers, spammers)?
