I've been messing with courier and have had problems making it work with postgresql. http://howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17519 the only reason i wanted to use courier is because email imap and pop tutorials on this website seem to perfer courier over dovecot. what would i loose if i move to dovecot? what are the advantages over one or the other? thanks, -lm
You can use dovecot. look into "The Perfect Server" setups. yum based and most apt-get such as fedora, and centOS use dovecot in their configs. In my opinion theres no difference.
