Hi, I have winXP and Windows Server 2003 on my system now. I want to install Suse 10, but I dont want the boot loader GRUB to appear instead of the boot.ini of windows. I've been told that I should install the GRUB on the furst sector of the /boot partition of Linux, not on the MBR. If I do so, how can I boot Linux ?? Thanks a lot !!!
After you installed linux, you will have to boot in your WinXP and change the windows Bootloader and add an entry for SuSe. Maybe this helps you, even if its writen for SuSe 8: http://portal.suse.de/sdb/en/2002/10/fhassel_grub_nt.html
