I just put together a new server. The motherboard comes with dual ethernet Lan. I don't know how to take advantage of having two ethernet lan as opposed to just one. Is there a way to double the internet connection to the server? I guess i'm asking what good is that second ethernet lan, and how can I utilize it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kirk

    Take a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/nic_bonding
But you would need two internet accesses then.

Normally you use two NICs to build a router out of that system. If you don't want to build a router and don't have two internet accesses, simply leave the second NIC unused. :)
