I have 2 identical servers, server1.example.com and server2.example.com I installed ISPconfig on both servers using the same method and both tested out fine. I have been using server1.example.com as a live server for several months. Today I decided to try to duplicate the live server data and settings on to server2.example.com so I copied /var/www and /var/vmail/ along with mysql.sql and dbispconfig.sql to the new server. I was already logged into the ispconfig page on server2.example.com and was able to see all of the migrated users and configuration. I decided to reboot server2.example.com to make sure everything would come up properly. After reboot, the ispconfig pages showed unable to connect to database. I logged out of the interface and attempted to log back in but it will not accept the password. I figured the problem was the server hostname from the old server migrating to the new server in the dbispconfig database. so I changed the hostname in dbispconfig | server | server_name table but am still unable to log in. Does anyone have any pointers as to what I did wrong?
