I have 2 clients each running a website. Website 1 has an email account called [email protected]. Client 2 tried to setup an email called [email protected] and gets an error message that a user with the name support already exist. Is there a way to correct that so both can have an email called support@.
You mix up usernames and email addresses. Every domain can have its own email address like support@, but usernames have to be unique for the whole server. I guess you disabeld the username prefix which was not such a good idea . Please enable it again, so that every username has a unique prefix per site.
