Email configuration by hand

As my ISPConfig 2 setup has stopped working, until I get a replacement in place, I need to maintain the system by hand-editing config files.

Most of this is OK, but I'm not clear where the aliases for forwarding email to other addresses is set. It is a perfect setup on Debian running Postfix.

For example, if a an email address [email protected] is set up on the system and in ISPConfig it was set to forward email to "[email protected]" where is that stored in a configuration file?

I can find the detail of where it should go in isp_isp_user / user_emailweiterleitung but I don't know what config file that table updates.

It would be really useful if there was a list of all the files that ISPConfig 2 updates, but the email forwarding is the one I'm puzzled by at present.

In the .forward file of the mailbox.

    e.g. /var/www/www.yourdomain.tld/user/web15_info/.forward
