email error : User unkown in local recipient table

Fedora 15/ISPconfig-3 email problem.

Getting this message sent to root about [email protected]:

(reason: 550 5.1.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table)

I found that somehow saslauthd was not running. So I started it and I'm no longer getting the error but the emails are now going to the queue.

Are there any errors in your mail log (in the /var/log/ directory)?

 

scan logs for 9/30 but nothing found

I came up with starting saslauthd from reading HowtoForge tutorial on setting up virtual users for Postfix, Courier and Squirrelmail with MySQL to get a general knowledge of what virtual user specifications look like.

When I started saslauthd I no longer got the errors to root mail.
