Can ISPConfig have mail addresses like [email protected] ? I tried it and i is not obvious to me how to to do this. I checked the forums and as far as i know, this is not addressed. I hope someone gives me a route to this. Gr Ovis
With the current stable version of ISPConfig: Email which is is sent to [email protected] will be delivered in the same mailbox as [email protected], which is the mailbox [email protected]. It is something i do not like, because of that behaviour, it is possible to create two different loginnames /passwords like these: 1 loginname/password for emailaddress [email protected] 1 loginname/password for emailaddress [email protected] One more bad situation: If you use a webmailclient like RoundCube for instance, it is possible to login by using the account for [email protected], but the mailbox will be empty for ever, because the mail will be delivered to [email protected]. I do not know, if something is planned to overcome this.
