Hi, I renamed the email address of an existing user, but still emails to this address are not rejected by the server. The address is not listed in virtusertable anymore and it also doesn't appear in the isp_isp_user db table. Removing the entire user account from ispconfig didn't help either, mails to the old address still seem to be accepted (no error message/reply as for other addresses that haven't been in use). The mails are not delivered to the original forawarding address, though, it's just that the sender has no way of knowing that their mail doesn't make it... What else should I check to fix this? Thanks in advance, kuckus
Is the part in front of the @ identical of this email address to a linux system user name in /etc/passwd?
Yes it is. So I guess what I am looking for is a way of excluding / rejecting all mail for those system users in general - is there a "common practice" for doing this?
