    Hello,

Email forward stop working for some of the domains that the server is hosting, only one of the domains is able to perform the email forward, the option "send copy to" (not aliases).

I checked that the parameter "inet_interfaces = all' was configured on the main.cf postfix's file. I would really appreciate any advice what other configuration related to forward options could I checked.

The server is running under Centos 5.5 and ISPConfig 3

What exactly is logged in the mail.log file when you send an email to one of these non-working forwards?

    till,
Could be this forward option related to the sendmail service?, because it is stopped.

Attached iss the file with the logs...

    Hello,
I would really appreciate if someone can tell me if there is any specific service related to email forward on postfix?, I have not been able to make the email forward option work, it is has been disabled after a server shutdown and restart.

    Thanks.

No. sendmail is not used on an ISPConfig server.

The log shows that you have sent a message to [email protected] forwarded from [email protected] and the message was delivered successfully in the local mailbox of [email protected]. The "send copy to" function is not an email forward, it is a local mailbox script to send a copy. Email forwards are in the left menu under email forward.

    Till,

Thanks for your always help and the explanation, I trying to make the "send copy to" worked, there are several domains on the server and it's only working for one domain.

Can I create this script on the mailbox manually and try to make it worked?.

The logs don't show anything related to [email protected] forwarded from [email protected], before the reboot I can confirm that the logs show all the info related to copied email account.

Also I tried the Custom rule option with this cc 'recipient@domain2.com' that was working before as well.

The filter scripts on courier servers (and you seem to use courier imap and not dovecot) are in /var/vmail/mailfilters/.....

    Till,
I managed to copy the directory with file containing the script from one working account, changed the name and added the email account that I wanted to be copied and it worked.

Something that is very curious is that the logs don't show the info related to the copied accounts, even with the only domain that was working before. Also when I tried to add a new email from the webpanel from ISPconfig didn't work, the file remains the same even maintains the last modified time stamp.

It could be something related from permissions needed from the control panel?

By now I think i can make it work manually .

    Thanks a lot!!!

    Till,

I tried to enable the detailed log from the link tutorial and it's not working, right now I was trying to enable autoresponder and it did'nt worked. I was thinking that maybe there is one service that was not enable on reboot because everytime that I tried to modified something from the web console it not worked.

    :(

Please post the debug output that you get when you run the server.sh script.

You could rename that log file and see if server.sh runs without error. Are you on a 32bit system? That could run into 2G limit (or at least used to), or your filesystem may have a limit there, or maybe you have ulimit in effect (ulimit -f), any of which I believe would cause that error.

and you should run a repair on all tables in the dbispconfig database with phpmyadmin. there seem to be crashed database tables.

    Hello Jesse,
Yes the system is running on 32bit, It's an old system, we already purchased the migration tool to migrate to a new server but first we need to make these things work out due to our clients need this options working properly while we perform the migration.

I rename the file but the autoresponder option is not working yet.

    Till,
While I repair the databases the email service would still running?, or It would be prefer to run the repair on a maintenance window?

The repair will take less than a minute and mysql works during that time.
