Hi, am having a few email issues. Receiving is ok, but no go on the sending. Would prefer ssl on port 465, but even on port 25 it is a no go. Email client reports unknown reason for port 25, port 465 error is that smtp server is unavailable, or is refusing connections. one error i am seeing in logs is Code: Dec 20 19:20:08 mydomain postfix/trivial-rewrite[19867]: warning: do not list domain mydomain.net in BOTH mydestination and virtual_mailbox_domains I take it this is because i used mydomain.net when setting up ISPconfig and also setup a website/domain? Though was having issue sending email before setting up this domain? A dns check on client domain reports Code: Connect to mail servers I have connected successfully to all of your mailservers. mail.clientdomain.com.: Connected with greeting: mydomain.net Mail server host name in greeting The configuration of your mail servers and your DNS are not ok! The report of the test is: mail.clientdomain.com. -> mydomain.net -> 109.235.145.99 -> N.C. Spam recognition software and RFC821 4.3 (also RFC2821 4.3.1) state that the hostname given in the SMTP greeting MUST have an A record pointing back to the same server. mydomain.net = domain used when setting up ISPconfig and is same as mydomain.net that i setup as domain/website any ideas? cheers
