Code: Dec 22 10:15:00 webserver1 postfix/smtpd[16248]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from mail.tciproducts.com[75.58.191.237]: 450 4.7.1 <TCI-Mail.TCIPRODUCTS.LOCAL>: Helo command rejected: Host not found; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<TCI-Mail.TCIPRODUCTS.LOCAL> This is the issue, they have a problem in their configuration so it sends out a incorrect HELO. Also, please put such output in code tags in the future.
In recent ISPConfig versions there is a 'Reject unknown hostnames' setting in Server Config that controls if unknown hostnames are rejected or not. On a semi-related note, I explicitly block all hostnames identifying as the .local domain, so even without unknown hostname restrictions, that would get blocked on most (all?) servers here.
Thank you for this, i will let them know its their issue, not mine. i will put this in tags in future. thank you for pointing that out.
