hi i lost one domain for politicla problems, and i buy a smilar, i replace w/o problems in site and Worpress, and acctually is working good. my question is how can i change domain in mailbox KEEPING existing mails? tx in advance
I do not know what is best way, but what should work is create new maildomain and mailbox, then copy the old emails to the new mailbox. If this is on the same ISPConfig server, just copying the files (from /var/vmail/domain/mailuser/... ) should maybe work. Otherwise there is imapsync, https://imapsync.lamiral.info/
Click on the email domain in the mail domain list in ISPConfig to edit it, change the domain name and press save.
