Hi, I have started a new thread as the old one seems 'to be buried'. I have built a server based on Suse 11.3 and Config3, to me all aspects of the server are working except email. I have run dig mx vk4kbg.com.au are; ; <<>> DiG 9.7.1-P2 <<>> mx vk4kbg.com.au ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 41098 ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 1, AUTHORITY: 2, ADDITIONAL: 1 ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;vk4kbg.com.au. I would be very pleased to get some serious help here as I have two more sites to move to the new server and these sites carry 95% of our email traffic.
Thanks for the info, did this but no change. Then I decided to 'Start' again from the Raid formatting up. Put into play all of the advice and pointers that you have given me. And Guess what it works a treat, thanks Ron
