Today Thunderbird stopped working and is unable to access mail across all email mailboxes. it appears to be a certificate problem. I installed email according to https://forum.howtoforge.com/thread...d-lets-encrypt-ssl-certificate-certbot.86372/ and it has worked perfectly for some time As a test I deleted and re-installed one email mailbox in Thunderbird. During the re-install Thunderbird reported the certificate was wrong and that the certificate was only for the mail server itself and not for the domain of the mailbox. The time since I first installed email using https://forum.howtoforge.com/thread...d-lets-encrypt-ssl-certificate-certbot.86372/ is about right for certificates to be renewing. In the meantime, so mail can be accessed I've agreed for Thunderbird to accept the server certificate. I welcome advice to resolve the issue. Best regards, Terence
Ok. Appears to be resolved. I had mail.XXXX.com in /etc/systemd/system/le-mailserver-restart.path and it now seems to work ok after I replaced 'mail' with the hostname. That is, changed to hostname.XXXX.com in /etc/systemd/system/le-mailserver-restart.path
