Hello I have a question hope someone can direct me to a place to find the answer. I used one of Falco's howto's The Perfect Setup - Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Server (Dapper Drake). I have been trying to figure out how to send and recieve emails larger than 4 MB and I have had no luck. set up just like how-to plus ispconfig, I thought ispconfig should set mail box size however it does not effect it. thank you in advance Lee
4mb email I am currently installing a new server using Falco's The Perfect Server - Ubuntu Hardy Heron (Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Server) so this may not be an issue after finished but would like to know what the problen was. Lee
What are the outputs of Code: postconf -n | grep message_size_limit and Code: postconf -d | grep message_size_limit ?
from the first I get no responce, the second it say 10240000. However this is a new install using ( perfect-server-ubuntu 8.04-lts) by Falco this may be different than the other install ( perfect-server-ubuntu 6.06-lts) I am not finished testing this new install, but I do want to find out how to set email limits. Myself and a few friends I want to be able to send up to 100 mb but keep everyone else at 10 mb. I set up a special website with FTP to get around this and had disasterous results. Lee
