    Hi,
    I am new to ISPConfig.
I did install ISPconfig 3.1 on CentOS7, but I didn't activate DNS configuration upon installation.
Now I'm trying to configure DNS service on my server.
I did install the prerequisites (bind, bind-utils, ....), I created the named.conf and the empty named.conf.local, I activated the service named and I configured the server as offering DNS service in ISPConfig System->Server->Server Services
I tried to create the zone file using the wizard, it didn't work, then I tried the manual and then the import method, the named.conf.local is not modified, nothing is happening. The debug mode didn't give errors to follow.

    Regards.

Follow the chapter to install DNS from CntOS 7 perfect server guide, then you have to run an ispconfig update with reconfigure services = yes and choose to configure DNS when the updater asks you that it found a non-configured DNS service.
