    Hi:

i just install ispconfig and i have a little problem

i'm doing test and create a user ... after that , erase that user

later i try to create the same username to check something and i can not create the user because the ispconfig told me that user already exists.

i check the files and in postfix, did not exist (all the virtusertable is ok)

but, the username exists in /etc/passwd and i suspect in the databases too.

    my questions are:

i make a mistake and fail to do something to erase the user completely ?

i must to do something aditional to erase all traces of the user ?

by the way, I have the same problem with a domain created to test. I can not erase all traces of the domain and can not re-create

    any help

    thanks

ISPConfig has an recycle bin, like many modern applications and operating systems. After you removed your deleted users and domains completely by emptying the recycle bin, you will be able to create new users / domains with the same name.
