Hi, i'm using latest ISPConfig 3 on a clean Ubuntu 11.10 environment. I followed the The Perfect Server - Ubuntu 11.10 [ISPConfig 3] and i created two test websites and one reseller which owns both the websites. Websites are web1 (skyflashdemo.biz) and web2 (skyflash.it). Every site has 3 daily backups configured. Every website has its own ftp user When i connect as user via FTP, i can browse the entire website directory and any subfolder as stats, log, cgi-bin etc, but i obtain this message when i try to browse the backup symlink: Can't open backup: Permission denied Same error with any user Where is my mistake?
The backup folder can only be accessed by SSH users and not FTP users by default. We made the backup folder acessible by FTP in ISPConfig 3.0.4.
