I am having troulbe getting passed the PHP configuration portion of the setup. I have read the recent thread and an older one, but haven't found a way to fix my problem. I am running Ubuntu 6.06. Below is the output from my failed install. Any advice is appreciated. I've run thru this a couple times and am stuck. Is there anyway to create the database if it fails during installation? I've run through twice now, the database creates, but there are no tables. -Dan Joseph
df -h gives 8g free. It was late when it finished and I didn't record the only thing that I saw to be maybe an error. It was a line that in (what I think is) german. It said Something something something <dbname> something!. I don't know if that helps, but I am running the setup again to get that piece of reporting from it and will post it back here as soon as its done. -Dan Joseph
Hey, wanted to post and let you know I fixed it. I had created the database before installation thinking that was the right thing to do. Apparently not, I removed it, but left the database user there, and it installed perfectly. Thanks for your help thru all of this, I love the system! -Dan Joseph
