    Hi all,

I am installing ispconfig on a domU image using the debian3.1 image from jailtime.org.

I have gone through the perfect setup steps for Debian Sarge on HowToForge.net. The installation of ispconfig goes great until php5 want to install. Then the process dies and the following is written to the ispinstall_log

"ERROR The PHP binary coming with ISPConfig does not work properly on your system! The installation stops here!"

I assume something is missing from the jailtime image that is causing this. How can I find out what it is?

    thanks

I cant get all the output from the script but there is a lot of error messages about not being able to access directories. Sorry I cant do a cut and past of the on-screen errors. Will try tomorrow.

Yes, please post all the errors here, otherwise we can't help.

ok i found the problem. It appears that install Digest:SHA1 installed the required package but then another install removed it. I did an apt-get install from the debian repository and it now works. To find the packaged to install I did an apt-cache search SHA | grep perl.
