Error with ssl certificate creation

I created a self-signed certificate for one of my websites with Ispconfig 3 but when I go to https://mydomain.com Firefox gives me an "ssl_error_rx_record_too_long" error, I´ve tried to manually add the ssl info to /etc/apache2/sites-available/mysite.vhost but it doesn´t work.

The weird thing is that if I create a certificate for another domain I have on the same server it works and makes the site I want to have with ssl redirects to the second domain when browsing through https.

Just a guess, but maybe you entered something invalid on the SSL tab?

That don´t seems to be the problem because the same settings work for other domain as I said, it seems like ispconfig just updates the info of the first domain I originally added to ispconfig and doesn´t treat the others the same way. I mean why ispconfig wouldn´t edit the vhost file of a domain when a ssl cert is created but will do it for another one? It´s just weird.
