Hi all, I've done the howto today but the Mail's stay in the queue for to long a few of them since hours...

I don't have that much traffic on the server, but see trials to deliver spam every few sec's

The other prob I have is with mailwatch, when I click on a Report or "Recent Messages" all I see is :"No rows retrieved."

Maybe this is related, I hope one of you has a hint!!

    Hey Mircsicz,

Do you have any errors in your mail log? Also, the MailWatch issue is related to permissions. Please double check the instruction in the guide for MailWatch.

First of all thank's for that howto!!!

Now to your questions, no I don't have error's in my mail.log:

Oct 28 21:21:38 smtp DCC: dccifd already running
    Oct 28 22:15:12 smtp postfix/master[2880]: terminating on signal 15
Oct 28 22:15:27 smtp gld: gld started, up and running
    Oct 28 22:15:31 smtp postfix/master[2879]: daemon started -- version 2.5.5, configuration /etc/postfix

I'll redo the Mailwatch part of your howto tomorow and hopefully find a mistake, it's quite possible because I did it all on monday from 10 till 1 o clock in the night, so I might have overlooked a part!

    Thank's in advance Mircsicz

    Hey,

No problem, I was just tired of those other guys who charge for their guides.

Question. Why do you use Lenny and not Ubuntu?

From your log and the following line, it seems as though postfix is the problem.
    Oct 28 22:15:12 smtp postfix/master[2880]: terminating on signal 15

Does it keep terminating like this?

Double check the postfix configs, you might have missed something.

I can't send mail's and have now found that I've the following in my syslog:

    http://pastebin.com/m3153b778

But I could release all my Mails from the queue, but still didn't manage to get info's from the post log, but did set:

    smtp inet n - - - - smtpd -v

How can I get postfix in a real debug mode?
