    Hello, I have a new VPS and the /etc/hosts file have :
    127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
    ::1 localhost localhost.localdomain
    myIPv4 server1.example.com
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    The SSH server port is 22222
    Ubuntu 22.04
    Can I execute the Perfect Server Automated ISPConfig 3 Installation?
    Regards
    Marco

    The file is genarally ok, but you should replace:

    myIPv4 server1.example.com

    with

    myIPv4 server1.example.com server1

    to cover name resolving for the short and long form ov the hostname. The two localhost lines must stay there.
