    Hi,
I want to install my first web1.mydomain.com now.

Later (5months,etc), I would like to install the second web2.mydomain.com.

Which should be installed with expert and which should be installed with standard mode.

Please explain what standard/expert modes are?

    thank you, peter

ERROR: The postfix configuration directory (webserver)?

    Hi Till,
per the installation documentation there is no mention of email on "web1.domain.com" (webserver). But I'm getting this error while running php -q install.php:

ERROR: The postfix configuration directory '/etc/postfix' does not exist.

And you entered 'n' as you were asked if mail shall be configured in expert mode on that server? If you do not install all services that are described in the perfect server guide http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-debian-lenny-ispconfig3, then use the expert mode as the standard mode configures all services.

It didn't get to the point for email configuration.
