Is there any way to export all of my users email so that it can be in a windows friendly form? I'll be using either exchange or windows server's default POP.

    Thanks

As far as I know, exchange or windows pop server are not capable of reading either mbox or maildir format, which is used on linux servers.

The only solution that I see is to use a imap client to copy the emails via imap from the linux server to the windows server. But this requires that your windows server runs a imap server of course.

Hmm, i was thinking more along the lines of getting pop to work on my server, and then downloading everyones messages in outlook and then exporting them to a .pst, but i wasn't sure if exchange could pick up a .pst. Hmm, that seems like too much work.

I suppose I could run an IMAP server on my windows box, but that defeats the whole point. Anyone else have any ideas / experience doing this?
