Hi, I want to install a forum that requires postgresql (discourse)
I have already read that ispconfig does not support postgresql and it is not known when it will.
I would like to know if the external installation of posgresql can affect the correct functioning of ispconfig, mysql, etc.
The idea is to create the database in postgresql from the terminal, and then pass the connection data to the forum installer.
Then, with cron, I will automatically create a database dump in the private folder, so when ispconfig makes its backup, it also includes the dump.
It is not perfect but I think it can work.

That is the idea ... can there be problems with this?
Another question... ispconfig support mysql only, it's true?

  4. We have postgresql installed in our servers (davical and some customers web sites require it). No conflicts whatsoever.
