    Hello,

i have installed debian 11 and latest version of ispconfig. During install i tried to install fail2ban. But in etc files is no file /etc/fail2ban/jail.local, there are just

    Code:
    root@:~# ls /etc/fail2ban/
    action.d fail2ban.d jail.conf paths-arch.conf paths-debian.conf
    fail2ban.conf filter.d jail.d paths-common.conf paths-opensuse.conf

when i tried to add rules to file jail.conf,, fail2ban is failed. When i add to fail2ban.conf all works fine.

Any idea why there is no file jail.local? Is this settings fine?

That's a file that you create yourself when you configure jailkit, it overrides settings from jail.conf.
