I have asked for this several times, but no one has ever sent me one. I can;t for the life of me figure out how to get fail2ban to work properly with my setup. I am running Debian Lenny and ISPConfig 3.1.6 at the moment. I followed the standard Perfect Server configuration.

Can someone please send me a configuration file that works? I have tried to use the how-to for Debian Etch, but it does not work for my system. The configuration never loads properly.

    Thanks.

So all of the other services will be protected as well. I just want to make sure that people attacking the mail server, ftp server, or any other service for that matter will be blocked.

    Thanks.

No. The default setup will just protect ssh.
