fail2ban stop and start

Hi all, in the instalation Centos 5.5, IspConfig 3.0.2.2 run all good, very good, but I have this email from fail2ban, all days at the same time, 4,02 am.:

[Fail2Ban] SSH: stopped

Start and Stop ssh

Well, i see the secure logs and no inciden in the same time, 04:02:00. Some one nowk about this.

Maybe this is done by a cron job. Is there a fail2ban cron job in /etc/cron.daily/?

 

Apologies for reviving a thread from 2010, but I found it by googling and maybe others will have the same problem. In my case, I think the nightly fail2ban restarts were caused by logrotate, so I have added 'monthly' to /etc/logrotate.d/fail2ban
